Pilates is the heart of the retreat, and the vibe is strong, supportive, and feel-good. Classes focus on full-body strength, mobility, and mindful movement—challenging enough to feel accomplished, yet accessible for all levels. Expect unique themed flows, great playlists, and plenty of options so you can move in a way that feels right for your body.
In addition to daily movement, you’ll take part in thoughtfully curated workshops designed to help you slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself—whether that’s through journaling, guided conversation, or creative wellness-focused experiences that spark insight and clarity. Throughout the retreat, you’ll be nourished with wholesome, plant-based meals that support both your body and mind, making it easier to feel grounded, energized, and present.

Coach Carolyn is a dedicated fitness professional with over ten years experience in gym settings. She’s an expert-level mat Pilates practitioner and highly skilled in instructing individuals of all skill levels and body types. Moreover, Carolyn’s greatest passion is helping women live longer, healthier lives. She can’t wait to share the incredible power of Pilates with you in this upcoming immersive experience!

Do I need to be experienced in Pilates or fitness to attend?
No – this retreat is perfect for total beginners and advanced Pilates practitioners alike. The Pilates programming will offer modifications to all fitness levels. This retreat is a warm, welcoming, and body-positive environment! Whether you’re looking to discover a passion for Pilates, or to deepen your own practice, this retreat is for you.
Is it required to attend all classes, workshops, and excursions?
No – this is your unique retreat experience! All classes, workshops, and city excursions are optional.
Do I need to bring anything for the workshops?
No – materials for all workshops are provided.
Is the retreat dry? Will alcohol be served at any point?
This is a dry wellness-focused retreat, alcohol will not be provided on-site although you are welcomed to bring your own! Additionally, there will be several opportunites to purchase wine or cocktails during excursions.
What types of meals are included?
All meals served will be vegetarian. Breakfasts might include frittata, breakfast sandwiches, breakfast tacos, and fruit. Lunches could include hummus wraps, avocado toast, taco bowls, etc. For dinners think of luxe kale salads, quinoa power bowls, or tacos with veggie-forward sides. Filtered water and cold brew coffee will be provided throughout the day.
Where is the retreat located?
The retreat lodging is located in New Albany, IN which is a small town directly across the river from Louisville, KY. All retreat excursions will take place in Louisville, which is a 10 minute Uber from the lodging (all transportation to excursions included in retreat fee). New Albany is a safe, quiet town with direct access to the Ohio Riverfront Trail, as well as coffee shops, nature trails, and more.
How do I get to the retreat location?
Louisville is a 5 hour drive or 1.5 hour flight from Chicago. The Airbnb is only a 15 minute Uber from Louisville International Airport. For those who drive, ample free street parking is available. Also note that KY is on Eastern Standard Time, so adjust travel times accordingly. All retreat guests are responsbile for their own transportation to and from the retreat.
Is this retreat women-only?
Yes! This retreat is a women’s safe space, only women are allowed to register and attend.
How do I reserve my spot?
Start by filling out the booking form. Expect a follow up confirmation email with instructions on how to pay your retreat fee. Once you submit payment your room is officially secured, time to get excited! Be sure to wait to arrange your airfare/car pool until after you submit your booking fee.
What is the cancellation or refund policy?
Please be aware your retreat fee is non-refundable. However, it is transferable (if you’re no longer able to attend, you can transfer your spot to another woman).
What should I pack?
Please be sure to bring your own mat. Pilates socks are not required. It will be early spring in KY, so bringing layers is encouraged. Spring can also be rainy, so a rain jacket and/or umbrella are recommended. Be sure to bring comfortable walking shoes, as we will be walking a lot! Bug spray is also a good idea. Be sure to bring clothes you feel comfortable moving in – leggings, yoga pants, joggers, low-impact sports bras, t-shirts, long sleeve workout tops, and zip-ups are all great ideas. For city excursions feel free to bring outfits that make you feel cute and comfortable! The entire vibe of the trip is casual, so no formal attire is required.
Do I need to bring my own mat or equipment?
Please bring your own mat. If this is not possible – please let Carolyn know so she can help. All other Pilates props and workshop materials are provided.
